Bill L. Entwistle, 83, of Easton, passed away at Mason City Nursing Home, at 11:25 p.m., on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born August 7, 1942, in Allens Grove Township, in Mason County, to Loren and Helen (Schulz) Entwistle. He married Susan Moore on September 23, 1966, in Mason City. Mr. Entwistle is survived by his wife: Susan, of Easton; two children: James (Janell) Entwistle, of Mason City, and Michael Entwistle, of Easton; three grandchildren: Jared (Brooke) Entwistle, of Mackinaw, Emily Entwistle, of Mason City, and Riley (Brittany) Entwistle, of Macomb; four great-grandchildren: Max, Emersyn, Easton, and Boston; as well as two sisters: Carol Murk of Avon, and Linda (Mike) Coker, of Noblesville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, John Entwistle. Mr. Entwistle graduated from Easton High School in 1961 and later served in the US Army from April 1964 until April 1966. He was a plant manager for CFS and later F/S in Easton for several years. He farmed in the Easton area from 1976 until his retirement in 2008. In retirement he enjoyed restoring old tractors. Funeral services will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, in Mason City, on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation two hours prior to the services. Private burial services will be held at Easton Cemetery at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to Illini Central Athletic Boosters, Mason City Nursing Home Resident Activity Fund, or Easton United Methodist Church.
