Marquette, MI – Residents in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula may see patchy fog tonight as isolated showers move out of the eastern region, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Marquette.
Forecasters said Wednesday that skies will remain mostly dry overnight, though interior areas may experience reduced visibility from fog. Lows are expected to dip between 41 and 50 degrees, with the coolest readings in the western interior.
According to the NWS, Thursday will bring warmer conditions, with highs ranging from 70 to 76 degrees in the warmest spots. A cold front arriving late in the evening could trigger scattered showers, especially in the western U.P. Overnight lows will remain mild, falling between 48 and 55 degrees.
Friday’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures. Highs are projected between 61 and 70 degrees, with the coolest weather in the north-central counties. The weekend outlook currently favors mostly dry conditions, offering residents a more stable pattern after Thursday’s brief round of showers.
Drivers are advised to use caution late tonight and early Thursday morning, particularly in low-lying areas where fog may limit visibility.
