Nine former Waubonsie Valley High School athletes appear on college rosters for the week ending Sept. 6, including senior Brooke Nelson with North Central (IL)’s women’s soccer program, which is scheduled to host Illinois Institute of Technology on Sept. 1.
The group includes women’s soccer, women’s volleyball and men’s water polo. Bowling Green, Carroll (WI), Dickinson, Iona, McKendree, North Central (IL), Northern Illinois, and UW-Whitewater are listed among the college teams. Those programs have 30 scheduled events during the week ending Sept. 6.
