On Saturday, August 22, from 12- 8 pm., This-n-That store hosted a pride festival. The event consisted of multiple vendors selling homemade goods as well as multiple raffles, a silent auction, door prizes, and a lot of freebies.
Music could be heard throughout downtown, adding to the festive atmosphere, while a large inflatable rainbow provided a colorful backdrop for attendees to capture photos and memories.
This-n-That embraced the spirit of the celebration by decorating its storefront and windows in honor of Pride. The festivities concluded with a family friendly drag show, giving attendees an opportunity to enjoy one final celebration together.
Even though the store is closing, their long-term goal is to eventually

establish the festival as a nonprofit organization, allowing it to continue growing and serving the community for years to come. It is more than a festival, the event represents an opportunity to bring people together and celebrate love, kindness, acceptance and community.
