Jeffrey Feigenbaum, 29, is now charged with two felony counts of Hate Crime.

DuPage County prosecutors say the boy was building a fort with friends, and a girl, identified as Feigenbaum’s girlfriend’s daughter, allegedly damaged it.

When the boy knocked on her door, Feigenbaum allegedly came out of the home, used the slur, pushed him, and then threw his bike, prosecutors allege.

Feigenbaum was released on GPS monitoring and must remain at least 5,000 feet away from the victim, his residence, and his school. He must also surrender all firearms, firearm ammunition, or other dangerous weapons to the Naperville Police Department.

Feigenbaum’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 13.
