Norman Harris, 89, of St. Peter passed away at 11:10 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, at Twin Willows Nursing Center, Salem, Ill.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Monday, May 18, at Gieseking Funeral Home, Brownstown followed by a graveside service at Pilcher Cemetery, rural Brownstown with Trent Ice officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the donor’s choice.

Norman Lee Harris was born on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1936 in Bingham, Il to Clifford and Fern (Moreland) Harris. He married Brenda Kay Kingery on November 1, 1957 and she preceded him in death on Jan. 18, 2017. He retired from World Color Press, Effingham.

He is survived by; his daughters, Sharon (Bob) Alexander, Salem and Sandra (Bill) McDonald, Brownstown; grandchildren, Leah (John) Shipp, Conroe, Texas, Jenna (Bob) Wilkey, Spring, Texas, Adam Pasley, Vandalia and Hannah McDonald, Newport, Michigan; great grandchildren, Jordan Shipp, Ayden Shipp, Cameron Carmichael, Brody Carmichael, Brynn Carmichael, and Kaylin Wilkey.

He was preceded in death by; his wife; parents; and brothers, Clifford Bernell Harris and Ronnie Harris.
