DuPage County State’s Attorney Bob Berlin announced today that his office has been recognized by the University of Illinois College of Law as one of this year’s recipients of the College’s 2024-2025 Employer Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes employers who have regularly hired recent University of Illinois College of Law graduates.

The award was presented to Berlin by Greg Miarecki, the College’s Executive Assistant Dean for Career Planning and Professional Development, at an informal ceremony held in Berlin’s office. The DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office is one of seventy-two employers recognized in this year’s record-setting number of recipients. The Honor Roll contains a wide variety of employers, including private law firms, accounting firms, a wide assortment of government agencies, public interest employers and the courts.

“On behalf of the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, I proudly accept this recognition from the University of Illinois College of Law,” Berlin said. “Fair pursuit of justice requires not just a commitment to public service but also a firm desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Integrity, honesty, sound judgement, and courage, both in and out of the courtroom, and an unwavering commitment to justice, are just some of the qualities this office demands and without a doubt, graduates from the University of Illinois College of Law possess these qualities and much more. We are extremely lucky to have several of these graduates on our team.”
