An Arizona man has been charged with stealing multiple cell phones from the Naperville Apple Store Thursday afternoon, according to a release from Naperville police and the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office. 24-year-old Khyree Mosley faces one count each of burglary, retail theft, and fleeing or eluding a police officer.
Naperville police say the incident occurred at the Apple Store on Jefferson Street at around 4:25 p.m. when Mosely entered the store and is alleged to have taken three Apple iPhone 17’s from the store without paying for them. Prosecutors claim that Mosley fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Equinox, and when a Naperville police officer signaled for him to pull over, he refused and continued to flee. At approximately 9:00 p.m., officers in Minooka spotted Mosley and took him into custody.
Mosley appeared in DuPage County Court Friday morning and was granted pretrial release. His next court appearance is scheduled for February 11.
