Anthony “Tony” C. Starcevich, 71, of Canton, passed away on October 18, 2025 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. He was born on May 16, 1954 in Canton to Frank and Thelma (Shawgo) Starcevich. They preceded him in death along with three brothers; George, Mike and Matt. Surviving are three brothers; F. Joe (Connie) Starcevich of Canton, Danny (Sherry) Starcevich of Creve Coeur and Larry Starcevich of Canton, aunt Wilma Long of Canton, two nieces; Jessica (Ben) Starcevich-Tutt of Bartonville and Heather Emery of Missouri, nephew Aaron French of Wisconsin and many cousins from the Shawgo and Webber families. Tony worked as a truck driver for many years last working for Prairie Materials in Morton, retiring in 2019. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton and Croation Lodge #367, where he served as various officers from President to Secretary. In his free time, he enjoyed farming, motorcycles, horses, spending time with friends and family, and always being ornery. Cremation rites will be accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25, at the Canton VFW from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. To make online condolences please visit www.oakshinesfuneralhome.com
