The downriver boat launch and adjacent parking lot near the Iowa Ave. entrance to Riverside Park will be temporarily closed beginning Tuesday, September 23, beginning at 6:00 a.m.
According to a release from the City of Muscatine, the the American Serenade, a river cruise ship operated by American Cruise Lines, will arrive Monday, September 22, with passengers coming ashore to explore the community from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. The American Serenade will depart Muscatine at 1:00 p.m. with the boat launch and parking area opened once it has cleared.
While the downriver launch will be closed, the upriver boat launch will remain open for public use.
