Vandalia won their IESA Class 3a Regional over Effingham 8-2. They advance to face Chatham-Glenwood Saturday morning at 11 in the Sectional at St. Jacob Triad. Jaxten Carroll continues to shine for the Jr Vandals hitting .651 on the season with 13 home runs, 47 RBI and 27 runs scored in 17 games. Vandalia is 15-1-1 on the season while Chatham enters at 16-3.
Ttown won their 2a regional over Cumberland 11-3 after beating rival Stew-Stras in the semifinal 12-11 in a wild one. TTown will face Marshall on Saturday after their 3-2 win over Casey Westfield.
