As the fall season ramps up, your Chicago State Cougars are hitting the ground running—literally and figuratively! Here’s what’s ahead in Cougar Athletics this week:
Monday, Sept. 1
Women’s Golf kicks off the week at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational, hosted by Central Michigan University. It’s the season opening event for the Cougars on the links as they look to set the tone for a strong fall campaign.
Tuesday, Sept. 2
Women’s Soccer will host Hampton University at the Kroc Center. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. Come out and support the Cougars!
Thursday, Sept. 4
Volleyball travels north to Madison to compete in the Wisconsin Invitational, opening play with a 4:00 p.m. match against Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Friday, Sept. 5
It’s a busy day for the Cougars across multiple sports:
- Men’s Soccer hosts Detroit Mercy under the lights at the Kroc Center, with kickoff at 8:30 p.m.
- Cross Country opens its second event of the season at the Huskies Classic (hosted by NIU). The women’s race begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s race at 6:10 p.m.
- Volleyball continues action at the Wisconsin Invitational, taking on the host team, Wisconsin, at 7:00 p.m. in a marquee matchup.
Sunday, Sept. 7
- Triathlon will compete in its second event of the season at the Rhodes McKee Reeds Lake Triathlon.
- Women’s Soccer hits the road for a non-conference showdown with Wright State, kicking off at 1:00 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio.
